Naturist Thought #48 – Metaphor

The
American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language defines a metaphor as “a
figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing
is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison.” When you
love language, you love playing with it and metaphor is one of the constructions
you can use to explain or describe something.

A Spencer
Tunick’s picture shows a sea of naked bodies. There’s no sea, per se, but you
get the concept in some of his photos. The unique sense of freedom makes you
fly high in the sky. You definitely don’t fly when you get naked, but you can
imagine the feeling and agree with it.

Here’s a short example of metaphors. My naked weekend was now on my horizon, nothing could now prevent it from happening. I was going through a roller coaster of emotions filled with excitement. Naturism was lighting up my life.

Get Naked,
Stay Naked, Live Naked and Share the Naked Love!
